Round the Lord in Glory Seated
For SAB Choir and Organ. Just the thing for your smaller choir. A setting of Bryn Calfaria, that rollicking Welsh hymn by William Owen. Not difficult and great fun to sing.
Round the Lord in glory seated,
cherubim and seraphim
filled his temple, and repeated
each to each th'alternate hymn:
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,
earth is with its fullness stored;
Holy, holy, holy, Lord."
Heav'n is still with glory ringing;
earth takes up the angels' cry,
"Holy, holy, holy," singing,
"Lord of hosts, the Lord Most High!"
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,
Sings his holy church below,
Bid we now our anthems flow.
"Lord, Thy glory fills the heaven,
earth is with its fullness stored;
unto Thee be glory given,
Holy, holy, holy, Lord.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,
with Thine angel hosts we cry,
blessing Thee, Lord of Hosts most high.
"
