Jamie Apgar

Jamie Apgar is Organist and Choirmaster at the Parish of the Good Shepherd (Episcopal) in Waban, MA, a suburb of Boston. He completed his Ph.D. in musicology at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2018, with a dissertation on the politics of worship in post-Reformation England, and subsequently served on the faculty of the Church Divinity School of the Pacific (a seminary of the US Episcopal Church). He has performed with professional ensembles across the US as a tenor, countertenor, and continuo player.
