John S. Dixon

John Dixon was born in London, England in 1957. He moved to Virginia in 1988 where he has served as organist and composer-in-residence at Providence Presbyterian Church since 1998. He has created more than 500 original compositions over the past two decades. He also serves as Executive Director of The Academy of Music, a non-profit community music school headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia.
