Philip Paluszak
Philip Paluszak began his music studies in piano and organ early in life, and, by age 14, he was part time employed as an assistant organist at multiple churches in Greenville, SC. By the time he graduated from high school, he owned his own piano studio, teaching young students on a daily basis. Philip grew up singing with the Choristers of St. Mary's Church in Greenville, SC , and in high school, he joined the parish choir and the Schola Cantorum. He studied music theory and conducting there under Arlen Clarke and continues to sing in the parish choral ensembles, as well as play timpani for the Sunday services. Since 2014 he has served as St. Mary's Organ Scholar. Philip is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory at Furman University, where he was named a Bell Tower Scholar and recognized on the Dean's List. In addition to his studies in Music Theory, he is currently studying organ with Dr. Charles Tompkins.
