Description
Campion was an Elizabethan and Jacobean composer, poet, and physician. The bulk of his musical compositions are lute songs. He also composed dance masques and wrote A New Way of Making Fowre Parts in Counterpoint By a Most Familiar and Infallible Rule, a handbook on counterpoint.
