Ave Maria
SATB Choir with soprano solo (or small group). Just a gorgeous little anthem. Yes, it's in Latin, but don't let that put you Protestants off. We're all used to singing an Ave Maria now and then, especially during the Advent/Christmas season when the Mary lessons come up. Use it for candlelight communion, Lessons and Carols (both Advent and Christmas) , Christmas Eve, Fourth Sunday of Advent, or even the Feast of the Annunciation.
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum;
benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccatoribus,
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
