Mary Rose Jensen

Mary Rose Jensen began writing songs for the children’s choir she directed at church when her own two daughters were toddlers. In 1991 she and her husband, Mark Jensen, established Garden Rose Music to publish Songs of Joy, a print and recorded music project designed to teach children the basics of the Christian faith. Jensen’s hymns can be found in Celebrating Grace, published by Mercer University Press in 2010 and Singing the Faith, the 2011 Methodist UK Hymnal.
