Laudate Dominum
SAB and organ. Latin and English texts included. A gem of the French baroque style. Lots of flair and panache. Psalm 117 doesn't appear in the Sunday lectionary, but it's one of the traditional psalms for Roman Catholic vespers.
Laudate Dominum omnes gentes.
Laudate eum omnes populi.
Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia ejus.
Et veritas Domini manet in aeternum.
Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto.
Sicut erat in principio et nunc et semper
Et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
Praise ye the Lord, all ye nations, praise him.
O praise the Lord, ye people, Praise the Lord.
And the great mercy of the Lord, his mercy is confirmed upon us.
And still the truth of the Lord remains for evermore.
Glory be unto the Father, the Son, and unto the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
World without end. Alleluia. Amen.
